A graduate of the University of Southern California (B.S., Finance) and the American College of Life Underwriters (Chartered Life Underwriter), Jim O’Bryan has spent more than 40 years in the financial services business.

It began when he founded Insurance West Corporation, a large, California, multi-line insurance brokerage firm. The former president and board chairman, Jim remains associated with the company to this day.

He was CEO of Coldwell Banker Insurance Brokerage Company and Coldwell Banker Managing General Insurance Agency, as well as Vice-President of Insurance at Delphi Information Systems, Inc., when it was the leading supplier of turn-key automation systems for major national insurance brokerages.

Currently, Jim is the head of JSO Financial, a company he started to help a wide range of clients with a wide range of insurance needs — personal, family and business.

When he’s not serving his clients, Jim is busy serving his community. He was for many years a member of the Board of Directors of Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship, a national organization working with university students and faculty. He has chaired several Christian Business Men’s Committees, and at church has served as a teacher and on a number of committees. He is currently involved with the Rogue Valley Symphony Orchestra Association as a member of the Board of Directors and Marketing Committee. He also serves at Parkway Christian Center in the capacity of home group leader and host/teacher.
